Creation of project
The IP telephony project was created in cooperation of universities, which are engaged in CNAP program (Cisco Networking Academy Program) - Technical University in Košice, Žilina University in Žilina, Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, and Cisco Systems, on base of SANET infrastructure. The main goal of project was to build the university converged data and voice network.
Pilot phase of IP telephony implementation
In first phase of project were in particular nodes installed devices which are necessary for IP telephony network services.
Project of IP telephony - Phase 1
TU in Košice:
- Call Manager (Cisco Media Convergence Server – MCS-7825-1133)
- Voice gateway + Gatekeeper (Cisco 3700 Series Router – CISCO3725)
- Server Active Directory (Windows 2000 Server)
- 10 IP phones (Cisco IP Phone 7940G – CP7940G)
ZU in Žilina:
